Drum Disposal Systems

The environmental strength and durability of the steel drum is unrivalled, its re-use, reconditioning and then recycling of the steel offers unlimited future use.

Although steel and plastic drums have a significant re-use expectation, inevitably the containers will come to the end of their current life and so can then be recycled. 

Scrap steel drums are segregated at our licensed waste management facility and returned to the re-processors for fragmenting and smelting in readiness for recycling into new steel.

Plastic containers are washed, shredded and granulated in house in readiness for re-processing.  No containers are ever land filled, all parts and components are re-processed in one form or another.

Ramsden and Whale Limited provides a full drum and container disposal facility which meets all legislative and environmental requirements.

We operate a fleet of our own vehicles and can offer a nationwide collection service of containers for safe disposal.
