The steel drum has been used for the carriage of liquids for the whole of the twentieth century.

It is a robust and versatile container manufactured from mild steel and is used to carry virtually everything that is capable of being poured, including the most hazardous chemicals.

In its full open top form it is used to carry powders, pastes, greases and the more viscous liquids.

The steel 210 ltr drum is the only form of large package that can be safely handled without the need for mechanical handling equipment, it is largely for this reason that the steel drum remains the most popular form of shipping container in all corners of the world.

We offer a range of tight head or open top 210 ltr drums, both plain steel or internally lacquer lined.

Our customers enjoy the flexibility of small or large production runs, we can offer a variety of colour specifications and printed decorations on drums.

Our versatility allows our customers to order a variety of different container types on a single delivery, or to multiple destinations.

We run our own in house transport and can therefore offer a fast and responsive service, particularly when our customers have ‘Just in Time’ requirements.

Our new steel tight head drums have VCA approval for the carriage of Dangerous Goods, the UN certification can be downloaded from the download library.
